Mandatory product certification schemes

Watermark is a mandatory certification scheme which provides a nationally consistent, risk based certification scheme for ensuring the quality of certain materials and products used in plumbing and drainage installations. www.abcb.gov.au  

Voluntary industry conformity assessment and schemes

Voluntary industry product certification schemes provide another conformity assessment pathway available to industry. 

The following is a list of bodies that are accredited by JAS-ANZ for product certification and/or accredited by NATA for inspection currently included in NCPR. The list also includes certification schemes for building products that are included in the body’s scope of JAS-ANZ accreditation.
